Intrigued by the Japanese Wabi-sabi philosophy, I am constantly exploring the infinite expressive possibilities given by the materials and their innate qualities.

“Broken circles” is a collection of delicate ceramic rings that are designed in a neutral and geometrical shape, then partially broken in order to obtain unique decorative aesthetics where the material itself is free to speak, hiding the trace of human intention in the act of creation.

This research allows me to push my understanding of the “beauty” as objective value to enhance a creative technique or methodology.
